This year, 2025, the Aviva Week specifically dedicated to raising awareness on congenital anomalies, is scheduled to run from December 15th - 20th.
Besides hikes and exciting edu-health talks on neonatological setbacks targeting young people preparing for parenthood, during the Aviva Week, members of the Open Dreams Family and partner organizations visit hospitals to financially support with hospital bills provide Christmas gifts to families, particularly those with babies in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU).
The Aviva Week is one of the very special opportunities for us at Open Dreams to have a tangible impact on the lives of neonates and families in dire need of answers to some of the mysteries of life associated with giving birth, when outcomes are different from expectations.
The Aviva Initiative also promotes research and awareness for a deeper understanding and improved care for babies with birth defects.
